Privacy Policy
Last updated 14 September 2026.
ChatDix provides live chat software. This page explains what we collect when you use chatdix.com, the ChatDix app, and the chat widget on customer websites.
Account data
When you create a workspace we store your name, email, password hash or Google sign-in id, role, and billing records. Owners may invite agents. We use this data to run the product, send security mail, and process plans.
Visitor and chat data
The widget may collect the page URL, device and browser, approximate location, messages, and any name or email a visitor shares. That data belongs to the workspace that installed the widget. We process it to deliver live chat, not to sell it.
Payments
Card and PayPal are handled by those providers. Bank and crypto details you submit for a plan are stored to review the payment. We do not sell payment data.
Cookies
The marketing site uses no tracking pixels. The app uses a session so you stay signed in. The widget uses storage needed to keep a visitor chat open.
Your rights
Workspace owners can update profile data in the app. To export or delete a workspace, email hello@chatdix.com. We keep backups for a limited time after deletion for security.
Children
ChatDix is for business websites. Do not use the widget to knowingly collect data from children under 16.
International processing
If you embed the widget, you decide where your visitors are. You are responsible for telling them chat is active. We process data to provide the service you asked for, including infrastructure needed to deliver messages in real time.
Changes
If this policy changes in a material way, we will update the date on this page and, for account holders, note it in the app when we can.
